Few weeks ago, a friend of mine told me to go to Bakoel Koffie/Ark Gallery and take a cd called "Hello My Name is Frames". And so I did, since it's located in our neighbourhood. At first I thought it was some band promoting their album but when I turned the back of the package, there's the word "magazine" on it. In other way, it's called Frames Magazine.
When I got home, I put the cd into the computer and voila! there's the magazine! Not only a magazine, but also videos and songs which three of em work properly with Adobe Flash Player 9. I started "flippin" the magazine by clicking the corner of the "paper". Total 170 pages, if I'm not mistaken. I was like, "Oh jeez, this is insanely cool!" I mean, how often do you see a magazine that comes in a cd with songs and videos? FYI, you can also put the cd in the cd player so you can listen to the songs. Seriously, that IS kool loh!
Frames Magazine mainly talks about art in various branches in creativity skills. Their first issue called "The Introduction Issue" which contains a lot of artwork by the artists they've chosen for this issue, such as Sajama Cut, Davy Linggar, Hendricus Linggawidjaja, Albert Judiyanto, Robby Susanto and so much more. So without further ado, take a peek at the contents:
(Btw, I'm #967 out of 1000 lucky bastards)
